Bosgame E6 ECO: Intel's Wildcat Lake arrives in a mini-PC for $380

A 0.7-liter case, 12GB of LPDDR5X, two 2.5GbE ports and Wi-Fi 7 for $379.99: Bosgame kicks off the Wildcat Lake mini-PCs, Intel's low-power platform that succeeds Twin Lake.

Design

Ultra-compact format: 129 × 128 × 44 mm, or a volume of 0.73 liters - in line with Chinese NUC-like devices that flood AliExpress, but with a custom copper heat pipe heatsink and hydraulic fan. The case weighs nothing on the shelf, fits under a screen via a VESA mount, and slips behind a TV with ease.

Hands-on

On paper, Bosgame plays the "just enough" card. The SoC is an Intel Core 3 304, a consumer version of the Wildcat Lake platform - Intel's new generation of low-power chips designed to replace Twin Lake/Alder Lake-N on entry-level mini-PCs and laptops.

Configuration: 1 P-core clocked from 1.5 to 4.3 GHz, supported by 4 E-cores that go up to 3.3 GHz, for a TDP of 15 W. No hyperthreading, no dedicated NPU: the total AI reaches 24 TOPS (15 CPU + 9 iGPU), far below the 40 TOPS required by Microsoft for the Copilot+ PC label.

Performance

Without public benchmarks at launch, Notebookcheck places the Core 3 304 in the zone of an AMD Ryzen 3 210. In other words: heavy office work, light dev, 4K media center, yes; serious local AI tasks, no.

The 12 GB of soldered LPDDR5X is an unexpected asset at this price - it's more than the usual 8 or 16 GB in this range, and it avoids the memory bottleneck of iGPUs. Storage: 512 GB NVMe in the first slot + a second M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 that accepts up to 4 TB. Enough to set up a small NAS or a Proxmox station.

Connectivity

Verdict

At $379.99 announced for a launch on August 15, 2026, Bosgame targets the niche where AMD struggles to go down. The recent direct competitor, the Lenovo Lecoo Mini Pro with Ryzen 5 7430U, is around $443 (~2,999 CNY) for a 0.8 L case - more powerful on the CPU side, but without the dual 2.5 GbE or Wi-Fi 7.

For a homelab mini-PC, media center, or first Linux workstation for a teenager who is just starting out, the equation holds. For a main dev station or photo editing, you'll need to aim higher.
